PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Creating and editing website content - Publish weekly e-newsletter and email campaigns - Create engagement and manage digital campaigns on Whistler Chamber social media channels - Design ads, posters and other marketing collateral for events and campaigns - Photography at events and maintenance of Whistler Chamber image library. - Manage advertising opportunities for members - Assist with media relations and reporting
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Be reliable
- At least 2 years' experience in communications or marketing - Ability to work independently and think creatively - Strong administrative skills and impeccable attention to detail - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Talent with Adobe Creative Suite - Knowledge of web content management software an asset
Be responsive
- A sound knowledge of the Whistler business community - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Flexibility to work evenings as per event requirements
Build Relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills - Strong marketing and customer service focus - Ability to work in a small, cross-functional team environment
